A few answers
before you start.

What documents can I translate?

PDFs, DOCX, UTF-8 TXT and JPG, PNG or WebP images. Scanned pages are recognised on your device in the selected source language. OCR supports up to 10 scanned pages. The current tool translates up to 15,000 characters at a time.

Where does my text go?

Files are read in your browser. When you press Translate, the extracted text goes through our server to Cloudflare Workers AI. We do not save documents or translation text.

Does it preserve the original formatting?

The result is a new text document. Paragraphs are retained where possible, but images, tables, headers and the original page layout are not copied.

Can I rely on an automatic translation?

Review the translation before sharing it. Names, numbers and specialist terminology can require correction. You can copy the result or edit the downloaded Word document.
